The ‘Mr. Hyde’ is a theatrical rum cocktail from Purl bar in London, and is made here by bartender Lukas Stafin.
At the bar it’s made as a sharing punch, then served in individually smoked bottles with lashings of dry ice to help set the scene!

This is definitely one to sip and savour after dark…

Recipe: –
(The following makes one serving. To serve as a punch simply multiply the measurements by the number of servings.)
40ml Gold Rum
15ml Falernum
5ml Demerara Syrup
Stir all ingredients with ice to dilute and chill.
Prepare a rocks glass by smoking with calvados-soaked woodchips (optional!).
Add ice to glass, strain cocktail inside and garnish with orange and grapefruit zests.
