Infusing spirits and liqueurs with other ingredients to change their flavour is a great way to start getting experimental with your cocktail making!

It’s a technique that’s demonstrated perfectly by bartender Richard Hunt of London’s Mint Gun Club in this ‘Quiet Americano’.

A twist on the classic Americano cocktail, it infuses the drink’s regular bitter liqueur with strawberries for a fruity new take.

The recipe takes things further still with the addition of dry vermouth and a touch of grapefruit cordial.

Sweet, bitter, fruity and refreshing, this is a perfect sip for any occasion!
