This one’s light, fruity and juicy!

The base spirit in this recipe is kirsch, an unsweetened eau de vie distilled from cherries, and it’s joined by fino sherry, elderflower liqueur, honeydew melon juice and a touch of orgeat (almond syrup).

After throwing the ingredients with ice to mix and chill, the cocktail is lengthened with soda water to bring a gentle efferverscense to this delightful sip!

From the menu at hip Peckham cocktail bar Funkidory, it’s made here by owner-bartender Sergio Leanza.

Recipe: –

20ml Kirsch

20ml Fino Sherry

10ml Elderflower Liqueur

10ml Orgeat

40ml Honeydew Melon Juice

Add ice and throw from one container to another, to mix, chill and dilute.

Prepare your glass by garnishing with a sprinkling of freeze-dried raspberry dust, then fill with ice. Strain the cocktail inside, top up with Soda Water and mix gently before serving.
